Happy Holidays from AG Salesworks!

AG Christmas

A Special Holiday Thanks to my Team:

I got a call from my brother in November regarding a non-profit organization that was in dire need of toys for their holiday toy drive.  Dare Family Services in Somerville, MA was the charity and they informed my brother that they were looking to find toy donations for a large number of the children.  Dare Family Services specializes in finding homes for children of all ages.  My Brother thought that perhaps I could provide a couple of gifts from the kids' wish list and see if anyone else in my office would do the same.

The folks at Dare sent a wish list over to me with the names and desired toys for 35 kids.  I chose two kids to sponsor and put my business partners name down for 2 as well.  I then sent an email out to the entire team here at AG letting them know that, if they wanted, they could select a kid from the list and buy that gift.  I'm happy to say that the response from my team was immediate and in excess of what I had expected.  Within 20 minutes we had 31 of the 35 kids covered.  I sent out a "thanks" email at that point and received another 4 emails from people doubling up on gifts to cover the 4 names that hadn't been taken.

While it is a simple thing, buying a toy for a kid during the holidays, the enthusiasm and kindness shown so immediately by my team made me more proud of them than any of the remarkable things they have accomplished this year.  I'm using my blog space this week to send a heartfelt "Thanks" to all of the wonderful people working at AG who make my job such a pleasure.  You guys are the best!!

Regards,

Pete

To the AG team, our clients (both current and former), and to those of you that read Sales Prospecting Perspectives, Happy Holidays and I wish you all the best in 2010.
